This adjective has an obvious relationship to verity, which is the quality of being true. Veritable, however, is a bit of a weasel word, since it normally characterizes things that are almost true, or that the writer wants you to think are true. Its most frequent companions are nouns denoting things capable of great destruction or power (flood, army, explosion, and the like).

Today is new hope - a day like no other
Yesterday is behind you - and God willing

Tomorrow is on its way

Today is new song - a song to be sung

Born anew - faith sings - and God willing

Nothing will go wrong today

Today is new joy - a joy to be explored

Faith that lives is now -  Now Faith is willing

To trust God and make a joyful noise

Everyday new - a day like no other

Yesterday is over and God is still able
to finish the work He began on the day
you were saved.  Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord!!

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for

The evidence of things not seen - we walk by

faith not by sight when we choose to believe.
