LORD OF MY HEART

Lord of our hearts,

Hold on to us, please;

Take our so-selfish art,

In exchange for your peace.

Lord of the heart,

Break us, if You must;

Conquer the rebel part,

That will not accept love.

Lord of the new heart,

Free us in Truth-born Faith;

Win this hopeless world war,

Please give us more holy grace.

Love us, dearest Lord Jesus,

Baptize us with who You are;

Our Great God and Friend,

You are Lord of the heart.
