KEPT BY THE POWER

Kept by the power of God
My soul rests at Jesus' Cross
Kept by the power of God
My heart is anchored to the Rock

Kept by the power of God
My spirit soars on eagle's wings
Kept by the power of God
I will rise above material things

Kept by the power of God
My freedom depends on holiness
Kept by the power of God
His strength controls my weaknesses

Kept by the power of God
I find contentment in my Lord Jesus
Kept by the power of God
Nothing moves me from His love

Sanctification
"Of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us … sanctification."
1 Corinthians 1:30

The Life Side. The mystery of sanctification is that the perfections of Jesus Christ are imparted to me, not gradually, but instantly when by faith I enter into the realization that Jesus Christ is made unto me sanctification. Sanctification does not mean anything less than the holiness of Jesus being made mine manifestly.
The one marvellous secret of a holy life lies not in imitating Jesus, but in letting the perfections of Jesus manifest themselves in my mortal flesh. Sanctification is "Christ in you." It is His wonderful life that is imparted to me in sanctification, and imparted by faith as a sovereign gift of God's grace. Am I willing for God to make sanctification as real in me as it is in His word?
Sanctification means the impartation of the Holy qualities of Jesus Christ. It is His patience, His love, His holiness, His faith, His purity, His godliness, that is manifested in and through every sanctified soul. Sanctification is not drawing from Jesus the power to be holy; it is drawing from Jesus the holiness that was manifested in Him, and He manifests it in me. Sanctification is an impartation, not an imitation. Imitation is on a different line. In Jesus Christ is the perfection of everything, and the mystery of sanctification is that all the perfections of Jesus are at my disposal, and slowly and surely I begin to live a life of ineffable order and sanity and holiness: "Kept by the power of God."

ALL we NEED

ALL we NEED

You'll never find your way home,
Thanks to Jesus you don't have to;
You are with us always LORD,
Showing us which way to go.

If you can't take the strain much longer,
Remember in Christ you don't have to;
He us our strength, our peace,
His comfort sees us through.

We will not win this race ourselves,
Thanks to Jesus we don't have to;
He always goes ahead of us,
Restoring the broken road.

We cannot live our faith alone,
PRAISE GOD we don't have to;
JESUS is
our Savior Redeemer,
ALL we NEED is YOU.

WORK OF ART

"What he's been creating, since the first beat of your heart, is a
living, breathing, priceless work of art." Stephen Curtis Chapman
  WORK OF ART

These rhymes, these simple poems;
How do they prove my love for You?
The songs I sing, the worship I bring;
Do they ever really move Your Heart?
Sinner's heart and trembling hands,
I surrender them to You. All I am is
Yours to shape into a work of art.

 Dear children, let us not love with words
or tongue but with actions and in truth.
1 John 3:18

"This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down
His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our
brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his
brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of
God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or
tongue but with actions and in truth." 1 John 3:16-18

WORK OF ART

These words,
This empty dialogue,
what good do they really do?

These rhymes, these clever poems,
How does it prove my love for You?

The songs I sing, The worship I bring,
Do they really ever move Your Heart?

This is all I have for You to shape into a work of art:
These bloodstained hands, this sinner's heart;
I surrender them to You.

RECONCILIATION

For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin;
that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

2Corinthians 5:21

Sin is a fundamental relationship; it is not wrong doing, it is wrong
being, deliberate and emphatic independence of God. The Christian
religion bases everything on the positive, radical nature of sin.
Other religions deal with sins; the Bible alone deals with sin. The
first thing Jesus Christ faced in men was the heredity of sin, and it
is because we have ignored this in our presentation of the Gospel
that the message of the Gospel has lost its sting and its blasting
power.

The revelation of the Bible is not that Jesus Christ took upon
Himself our fleshly sins, but that He took upon Himself the heredity
of sin which no man can touch. God made His own Son to be sin that He
might make the sinner a saint. All through the Bible it is revealed
that Our Lord bore the sin of the world by identification, not by
sympathy. He deliberately took upon His own shoulders, and bore in
His own Person, the whole massed sin of the human race - "He hath
made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin," and by so doing He put
the whole human race on the basis of Redemption. Jesus Christ
rehabilitated the human race; He put it back to where God designed it
to be, and anyone can enter into union with God on the ground of what
Our Lord has done on the Cross.

A man cannot redeem himself; Redemption is God's "bit," it is
absolutely finished and complete; its reference to individual men is
a question of their individual action. A distinction must always be
made between the revelation of Redemption and the conscious
experience of salvation in a man's life.

TREE OF LIFE

TREE OF LIFE

LORD
Grow me deeper

Let my roots run
down
Into the ground

Help me stand
LORD
Help me stand

Let Your strength fill me up

Make me strong
LORD
Make me strong

That I might withstand any storm

Grow me deeper
LORD

THE LIFTER UP

But you, O LORD, are a shield about me,
my glory, and the One who lifts my head.

PSALM 3

When I'm down
So weak and afraid
 You surround me with strength
You comfort and encourage me to rise again

When I'm lost
So damn confused
Under the weight of the world
Jesus, I will remember You

You are my Shepherd
Jesus, You are my Savior
Over every season of my life
You are my Redeemer and Lord

Jesus is before me
So high above the world
He came all the way down
To live, To die, To rise

When I'm low, struck down
Beneath the hardened ground

Still I will look up and know
Jesus is coming back for me
