Feel with new faith

Fight with new spirit

Hold frightened hearts

With new strength

Watch with new vision

Touch with compassion

Help desperate hearts

Find new direction

Shine with new light

Share with enthusiasm

Halt wayward hearts

With holiness

LORD OF MY HEART

Lord of our hearts,

Hold on to us, please;

Take our so-selfish art,

In exchange for your peace.

Lord of the heart,

Break us, if You must;

Conquer the rebel part,

That will not accept love.

Lord of the new heart,

Free us in Truth-born Faith;

Win this hopeless world war,

Please give us more holy grace.

Love us, dearest Lord Jesus,

Baptize us with who You are;

Our Great God and Friend,

You are Lord of the heart.
